Dogs have been an integral part of her life as long as Krista Kurvers can remember. She has been training, teaching, and handling dogs of any breed and most any purpose formally since 1996. Krista has been a dual certified K-9 Handler, an Animal Control Officer, and has trained service dogs in addition to teaching obedience, scent work, tricks, agility, etc. Krista joined Code 3 Associates as an instructor in early 2012, and travels the country with a Code 3 team of instructors teaching the Essential Animal Services Training Academy. She also offers assistance to those wishing to achieve a better connection with their four legged “best friend” through consultation and training at Encompass Canine, and is an evaluator for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizenship Certifications.
