Course Description

Working with the houseless population and their pets requires a compassionate and collaborative approach. Building trust and relationships is critical to addressing the concerns of both the individuals experiencing homelessness and the public.

In this 2-hour course led by instructor Todd Stosuy, participants will delve into the nuanced challenges faced by animal control officers, animal services professionals, and law enforcement personnel when engaging with individuals experiencing homelessness and their pets.

The session will emphasize the unique bond between the houseless population and their animals, challenging common misconceptions.
